Re: Who are you?
I am an older female from California. I sort of migrated here by way of the military. I was raised in Pennsylvania.

I think this is a great site. However I am not sure how i got here to get back to it can anyone enlighten me on that.

I am known as the Butterfly woman.

Re: I am a 48yr. old female LPN
Hi fellow Pennsylvanian
I too am a LPN but it took leaving PA to get it for me but now I have multiple disabilities including Corticobasilar Degeneration. It is hard being the patient isn't it? If you want to talk I will listen.

Hi ME

Are you one of those quite shy types until we get to know you?

What is the secret to getting to know you?

Take care and it is good to hear from you.

None of us know what tomarrow will bring--Each and everyone of us --al we really truly have is the precious moment we are in--The very precious precious precious present moment we are in. My disease is quickly and rapidly tacking more and more away from me teaching me more and more about that lesson. We [excuse me] I am learning to appreciate more fully each moment is a gift. Each sight I see, each breath I take, each person I have the opportunity to talk to, make amends to, tell I love them, each moment I get to take care of something--it is a gift

Re: Who are you?
Wow - you have a lot of spirit and courage. You are a do-er, that's for sure. I hold a BS and MS in Secondary Education/English, though I am not teaching. I was a university administrator until I no longer had a job on 6/2/05. Got to love the State of Connecticut.

It takes a special person to teach special ed, and I was smart enough to know that was not me. I am grateful to and admire the people who teach special ed. I think it is a calling.

I am a Catholic female, who has lived all her life in Connecticut. My age? You'd have to cut my trunk and count the rings, like a tree. I think age is a state of mind, and my mind says I am 25.

Re: Who are you?
Hi gcampos
Good to hear from you. I am not a man. What gave you that idea? Do I sound like one? In truth I have heard it before and I have done seminars and studies on the yin and yang --the male and female parts that we all have and found I do have more of the male than the female--no wonder I was a tomboy and still liked working with tools and never looked good in a dress.
Now with this disease running rampant I don't have to worry about the dress but it sure was a loss not being able to work with the tools--watchi8ng others use my tools was a bear.

How ya doing?--You ok? What's up with you?
You take care--
